America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is the national association representing member companies providing health insurance coverage to more than 200 million Americans. It represents the interest of its members on legislative and regulatory issues at the federal and state levels, and with the media, consumers and employers.

Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange

emids is a CORE Endorser. CORE is a program initiated by CAQH. CAQH is a nonprofit alliance of health plans and trade associations, and is a catalyst for industry collaboration on initiatives that simplify healthcare administration. CAQH launched the Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE) with the vision of giving providers access to eligibility and benefits information, before or at the time of service using the electronic system of their choice for any patient or health plan.

Being a CORE Endorser, emids will promote the Operating Rules set by CAQH which will improve EDI transactions between providers and payers.

Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise

Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) is the industry specialists' and healthcare professionals' initiative to promote the coordinated use of established standards such as DICOM and HL7 to address specific clinical need in support of optimal patient care.

Leadership Health Care
