eMids Technologies Achieves ISO 27001 Certification
Company Receives Independent Stamp of Approval for Its State-of-the-Art Information Security Management System
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 22, 2007 –Nashville-based eMids Technologies, a leading offshore and onshore outsourcing solutions company to Fortune 2000 companies, has achieved ISO 27001 certification after a rigorous 15-month review process by TUV Rhineland. According to the certification, eMids "has implemented and applies a management system for information security for the scope [of] global delivery of information technology and business process outsourcing services to healthcare and life sciences entities."
The ISO 27001 standard was introduced in 2005 to provide a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving an organization's Information Security Management System.

The ISO 27001 certification follows other recent significant company milestones.
